ShockTillYouDrop.com had a chance to sit down with the cast of the psychological thriller, "The Stepfather", Dylan Walsh and Sela Ward who plays his latest prey Susan; Penn Badgley from "Gossip Girl" plays her son Michael, who suspects his mother's new beau and Amber Heard plays Michael's girlfriend Kelly. We talked to them about whether they'd seen the original movie, the decision to switch the hero's gender, why the premise still works so well these days, and what motivates the title character to kill the families once he realizes they're not working out.

The Stepfather is a remake of the 1987 cult classic that starred future Lost cast member Terry O'Quinn as a serial killer who ingratiates himself into one doomed family after another. Dylan Walsh plays the title role this time, opposite Sela Ward as his unsuspecting mark-turned-fiancee.

 Here's the first PROMO STILL of Amber's upcoming movie "Zombieland" where she plays the zombie 406, opposite Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. Zombieland opens October 2nd.
Plot: In the horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying' bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

Amber attended the Toronto Film Festival to promote her movie "The Joneses". Amber stars opposite Demi Moore and David Duchovny. The movie doesn't have a release date yet but here's the plot: "A seemingly perfect family moves into a suburban neighborhood, but when it comes to the truth as to why they're living there, they don't exactly come clean with their neighbors."

Amber Heard is set to be in the film, "The Ward", which is about an institutionalized young woman who is terrorized by a ghost. It is directed by John Carpenter, horror master, and is to be filmed in Spokane, WA..starting from July 27th to September 8th, reports Seattle Times.

'Pineapple Express' bests 'Dark Knight' in Inland box office

"The Dark Knight" continued to soar nationally, topping the box office and becoming the third highest-grossing domestic film of all time.
But Inland audiences welcomed the stoner comedy "Pineapple Express" with open arms, pushing it to No. 1 in the region, where "The Dark Knight" was No. 2. It was a repeat of last week, where the debut of "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" was tops in the region, but second nationally.
"Pineapple Express" raked in $229,578 in the region despite its R rating, which usually turns off Inland audiences. Its regional per-theater average was $7,653; nationally, the figure was $7,292. ... Read More ...
